Montgomery Community Media (MCM) is the only independent, nonprofit organization providing access to public media directly to Montgomery County’s residents as well as non-profit organizations, associations and businesses. Our fully equipped TV studios and podcast rooms located at our Rockville headquarters and at our Silver Spring media lab are available for rent. Make your own media in our studios with the support of our award-winning production services team.
The fully equipped studio may be rented for up to 4 hours for podcast production. A MyMCM Audio Technician will be available to assist with the recording. The audio file will be sent via electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail. Options include recording the podcast remotely via Zoom and editing services. There is a maximum of 3 people in the podcast studio.
There are two studios at our Rockville headquarters, which are available to rent for a half or full day. Rental includes the services of Studio Director, CG Operator, Technical Director, Floor Director, two Camera Operators, Audio Technician, and Teleprompter Operator. The services include set preparation, production rehearsal, the live production, and striking the set. Footage of the recording will be delivered via an electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail.
The studio at the Silver Spring Media Lab may be set up with or without green screens and is available to rent for a half or full day. Rental includes the services of Studio/Technical Director, CG Operator, Floor Director, one Cameral Operator, Audio Technician, and Teleprompter Operator. The services include light set preparation, rehearsal, live production, and striking the set. Footage of the recording will be delivered via an electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail.
